This book is written for the Information Technologist who wants to enter and progress through the IT management and leadership ranks. It is also very helpful to the junior information technology manager who wants to become an information technology executive. It is not written for the senior IT executive who should already know everything that is in this book.This book presents a streamlined planning tool for the information technology strategic planner that can be used effectively in any type of organization whether it is a corporation, non-profit or government enterprise. An excellent tool that results is a one page Guiding Document that states in clear terms the Strategic Target, the Benefits provided the Strategic Plan, and the Action Items that will be taken the team to achieve those Benefits.
